POLICIES

  1. Privacy Policy: We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. We collect only the information you provide to us, such as your name, email address, and other contact details, and use it to deliver and improve our services. Your personal data is not shared with third parties and remains entirely under your control; you can access, modify, or delete it at any time upon request. For any questions regarding this policy, please contact us.

  2. Cancellation Policy: To respect the time of our therapists and clients, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations. Failure to provide this notice will result in a charge equivalent to 50% of the scheduled service fee. This fee must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. Emergencies and sudden illnesses are exceptions to this policy, subject to our discretion.

  3. Insurance and Superbill Policy: Our practice is cash-based and does not directly accept insurance, but we can provide a 'superbill' for you to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurer. This detailed receipt includes all necessary information for submission to your insurance provider. It is your responsibility to understand your coverage and submit the superbill, as we cannot guarantee reimbursement. We advise consulting with your insurance provider about their policies on out-of-network services.

  4. Payment Policy: Full payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and checks. Returned checks will incur a processing fee of $25 in addition to the amount owed. Please be aware that as a cash pay practice, we do not bill insurance companies directly, but can provide necessary documentation for you to seek reimbursement from your insurer if your policy allows.

  5. Scheduling Policy: Appointments can be scheduled online, by phone, or in person and are subject to availability. To ensure your preferred time, we recommend booking in advance. A reminder will be sent 48 hours before your appointment. Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first appointment to complete necessary paperwork without encroaching on your session time.

  6. Social Media Policy: During sessions, we may record videos or take photos for advertising and social media use. By using our services, you agree to this usage, but your privacy remains a top priority. If you prefer not to be recorded or featured, please notify us in writing during your initial appointment. We are dedicated to using all content ethically and in a way that positively reflects our community.

  7. Medicare Beneficiary Policy: As a cash-pay service, our practice is not enrolled with Medicare, and therefore, services deemed "medically necessary" are not eligible for Medicare reimbursement. Medicare beneficiaries should be aware that they will be responsible for the full cost of services, as Medicare will not cover these expenses. It is important for Medicare beneficiaries to understand this limitation before receiving services from our practice. We advise consulting with a Medicare representative if you have questions about your coverage.
